the discipleship and spiritual education of all who attend.
This ministry provides
for the planning and implementation of programs for all who attend
and help them grow spiritually as God's people in His Church,
through worship, education and service. Programs would also include
for the youth of of the congregation, Sunday School, Vacation Bible
School and Youth Confirmation.
There is a children's ministry
provided every Sunday during the worship service including prayer,
songs, Bible story time and crafts for the children.

Join the LICL
Prayer Team
“One-fourth
of our congregation makes up the Prayer Team,” said Pastor Spicer.
“It’s exciting to know that I can send out one email with a prayer
request and have 40 people praying on behalf of an individual or
family.”
Each week Pastor
Spicer sends an email containing prayer needs and requests to the
team. As needs come up during the week, updates are sent to the
team as well. In this way, the Lord is cultivating a spirit of
prayer among the members of our congregation.
Pastor Spicer
said, “We can always use more Prayer Team members. As our church
grows, the needs of our members increase too. What a blessing it is
to have brothers and sisters in Christ praying for you.” Those
wanting to be a part of the LICL Prayer Team should speak with
Pastor Spicer.
Choir
- If you love to sing and enjoy having fun, come and be a
part of the LICL choir! Choir practice is scheduled for
Wednesday's at 7:00PM. If you are interested in becoming a part of the
choir and would like more information, contact the church office. Hope to see you there!

Let the Bells
Ring - We will be practicing on Monday nights from 7 - 8 pm. It's a great time for fun
and fellowship. Contact Ginny McDuffee our Chimes & Hand bell Choir Director for further information through the church office at
623-773-1234.
Trustees -
If you can swing a hammer, pound a nail,
change a light bulb or even just pull some weeds, the Trustee's
would really appreciate your help. As our congregation grows so does
the work to keep up the grounds and the buildings and there just
never is enough help. Please contact the church office if you are
interested and would like to speak with one of the trustees.
Ushers
- Ushers help our
worshippers feel comfortable in our worship setting. They guide
others to name a few by handing out service folders, giving
directions, collecting the offering, greeting members and visitors,
and ushering for communion. If we didn't have these folks, our
services would be utter chaos! Sign up if you can help.
Greeters
- Greeters are vital to
our congregational life!! They are the first impression our visitors
get of our congregation. We can talk about being a friendly church,
but unless we have greeters who can really show that joyful
exuberance to our members and especially our visitors, we really
won't be a friendly church. Won't you consider becoming a part of
this ultimately important task?
Altar Guild
- The Altar Guild is
an organization that prepares the altar for the Lord's Supper. We
care for the silver, flowers, candles and linens, as well as seeing
that the chancel is clean and in order. The beautification of the
church is also one of our responsibilities. We would like anyone who
is a member to join us. Membership is open to adult women and men.
If this sounds interesting,
join the Altar Guild!
