Pastor George A. Spicer

Rev. George A. Spicer is pastor of Life in Christ Lutheran Church
	Pastor Spicer celebrated his 10th anniversary in the parish ministry in May 2007.  Previously he served as pastor of New Hope Lutheran Church in Festus, Missouri and Island Lutheran Church in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. He is married and has three grown children.  He claims to be patiently waiting for grandchildren (others are not so sure that he is waiting “patiently”).  He enjoys preaching, leading Bible study classes, teaching confirmation classes, working with children and youth and encouraging people in their daily walk with the Lord.  He marvels at how God is growing Life in Christ and prays that the congregation will be faithful in showing and sharing God’s love to each other, the community and the world. His hobbies include reading, listening to music and playing his guitar.  He tries to never miss an episode of “NCIS” and “The Office.”  He lives and dies according to the successes and failures of his favorite baseball team, The St. Louis Cardinals.  He promises that visitors and guests will receive a warm and friendly welcome from him and the members of Life in Christ Lutheran Church.  He enjoys making new friends and hopes that if you do not have a church home, you’ll come and visit LICL soon!
