New Ministry

Partner with an LICL College Student

PURPOSE:  Partner with a college student by sending texts, emails, greeting cards, snack boxes, gifts on a regular basis during the school year.

GOAL:  Help a student adjust/cope with college life.  Let he/she know you care and are interested in their success.  Being away from home, living in a new/different environment can be hard on young people; help them adjust by way of communication and connection.  And most importantly, make an effort to keep them close to God.

Student

Be a child or grandchild of LICL member.

Attend college anywhere in USA.

Sign up to be assigned a partner.

Fill out information sheet that will be given to partner.

Acknowledge receipt of communications and gifts.

Adult Partner

Communicate with student by text, email, or cards on a regular basis.

Pray for assigned student on a regular basis.

Send gifts for special occasions (Birthday, Christmas, etc.)

Make an effort to get to know the assigned student.

Help them in any other way you are so moved.
