Celebrating the Sanctity of Life

The Life Team of LICL is the Gospel‑motivated voice that encourages our church and community to embrace and celebrate the sanctity of life from conception to natural death into eternal life.

As explained by Lutherans for Life, our Life Team is for the lives of...

• The preborn — to love them, speak up for them and defend their rights as Scripture admonishes.
• Children — to love them, nurture them and teach them the value that God gives to all human life.
• Young people — to love them, respect them, and help them protect God’s precious gift of sexuality.
• Women and men experiencing the aftermath of abortion — to love them, speak loving truth to them; and offer them forgiveness, hope, and healing in Jesus Christ.
• People with disabilities and terminal illness — to love them, care for them, and be with them in their suffering.
• The elderly — to love them, speak well of them, and honor (or cherish) their gifts of wisdom.

New and Exciting Ways For Women to Know the Lord

Faithful women of Life in Christ, this is an opportunity to invite your family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy the study and fellowship we Christian ladies know and love.

Notable upcoming events:

• Women's Advent by Candlelight — December 6, 2024 from 6:30pm.

We are blessed to have gifted singers and skilled instrumentalists at Life in Christ

Our 8 am and 11 am Sunday services feature traditional hymnal singing with organ accompaniment. Plus, special music by our bell choir, voice choir and other featured musicians.

Join us every Sunday at 9:30 am for our modern worship service, where we sing Christian songs in our traditional liturgical setting.

Ministry to the Armed Forces

The LCMS encourages congregations, including Life in Christ, to reach out to military families in the following ways:

• Pray for our troops
• Recognize veterans in the congregation at least once a year
• Celebrate and remember our nation’s military veterans, service personnel, chaplains and families

Christ Caring for People Through People

Stephen Ministry is the one‑to‑one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system. Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to people who are facing a crisis or going through tough times. The care you’ll receive is confidential, free, and very helpful.

Stephen Ministers receive special training to provide one‑to‑one Christian care to people in our congregation and community who are experiencing grief, loneliness, divorce, hospitalization, disability, job loss, and many other life difficulties.

Staying Healthy in Body and Spirit

Life in Christ Lutheran Church is concerned about the physical, emotional and spiritual health of our congregants. A parish nurse is available for counsel, consultation, and referrals. Health promotion education opportunities are also provided.
